AGENDA RESULTS:

The Selectboard discussed the Warning for the upcoming Special Town Meeting to be held on Monday, June 30, 2008 with voting on Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Article 1 is the Bond Vote on the new Town Offices and Library. Article 2 is in regards to Steve Dupoise’s petition. Jim Ouimette was on hand for a legal opinion if it was needed.

In Article 1 – Is for the new Town Office and Library - The Voters will be asked to approve a bond in the amount on $594,000; therefore allowing the Selectboard to use $200,000 out of the Reserved Facilities Fund to pay for the remainder. (See Attached Warning)

In Article 2 – Is for the Dupoise Petition -The Voters will be asked if the Town should amend the future land use map of the Town Plan. (See Attached Warning)

Pam Marsh made a motion to approve the Warning, seconded by Lowell Nottingham. 5 yes / 0 no
